JUDGE ME

Don’t ever, ever, ever judge a book by its cover. It’s a hard lesson I’ve had to learn over the years and right now, I think it’s finally settling in. Never do it. Because there are secrets people keep to themselves that makes living that much harder. Sure, they don’t show it. Sure, they don’t say anything and it doesn’t seem to affect them. But you don’t see them and how they seem when they’re alone. You don’t know what they pray about. You don’t know if they cry, if they laugh, if they are in pain. You just. Don’t. Know. Everyone has a reason for their behavior, be it logical or illogical.
